Rental Conditions — Duray Rent a Car İzmir Airport

These rental conditions set out the general framework of the monthly car rental service provided at the Domestic and International terminals of İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport between Duray Rent a Car (hereinafter "Duray") and the natural or legal person renting the vehicle (hereinafter the "Renter"). Every Renter who makes a reservation and collects a vehicle is deemed to have read and accepted the conditions below. The rental period is 1 month as standard and prices are set again for each rental period.

1. Age and Licence Requirements

The person driving the vehicle must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driving licence. At least 1 year of licence seniority is required for economy and mid-size vehicles, and at least 3 years for upper-class and luxury vehicles.

A Turkish driving licence is valid for domestic rentals.
For Renters of other nationalities, a passport and an internationally valid driving licence (with translation where required) are requested.
Vehicles are not handed over to drivers whose licence has been temporarily withdrawn or has expired.

2. Reservation, Deposit and Payment

A reservation can be made via the website, by phone or on WhatsApp. At handover, the original of a valid credit card issued in the Renter's name must be presented.

Depending on the vehicle group, a deposit is taken by pre-authorisation (hold) on the credit card; this amount is released at the end of the rental once the vehicle is returned undamaged.
The monthly rental fee is collected in advance at the start of the rental or in instalments as stated in the contract.
All prices include VAT; maintenance, insurance, comprehensive cover, tyres and a replacement vehicle are included in the price.

3. Mileage Limit

For monthly rentals the standard usage limit is 4,500 km per month. This corresponds to an average of 150 km per day.

Every kilometre over the limit is invoiced at the end of the rental at the unit rate stated in the contract.
Renters needing higher mileage can request an unlimited mileage package at the reservation stage.

4. Insurance and Comprehensive Cover

All our vehicles are handed over with compulsory traffic insurance and comprehensive cover. With the Full Damage Cover that can be selected during reservation, the Renter's liability in the event of damage is reduced to a minimum.

Damage occurring under the influence of alcohol or drugs, while driving without a licence, or through serious breaches of traffic rules is outside insurance cover.
Damage to tyres, glass, wheels and the interior is the Renter's responsibility unless an additional cover package has been purchased.
In the event of an accident, damage is not covered unless an accident report and, where necessary, an alcohol test report are drawn up.

5. Handover and Return

Vehicles are handed over at the Domestic and International terminals of İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport according to flight information and are returned to the same point.

The vehicle must be returned with the fuel level at which it was collected; missing fuel is invoiced at the current fuel price plus a service charge.
On return the vehicle is inspected together with a Duray representative and a handover report is signed.
For usage exceeding the agreed return time by more than 2 hours, a pro-rata daily charge may be applied.

6. Cancellation and Changes

Reservation cancellations are free up to 24 hours before the handover time. For cancellations made after this period, a service deduction of one day's rental fee may apply. Date and vehicle change requests are accommodated free of charge where availability permits.

7. Renter's Obligations

The vehicle may only be driven by the driver(s) named in the contract.
The vehicle may not be used for freight transport, racing, towing another vehicle or illegal activities, and may not be sublet to third parties.
Traffic fines, bridge and motorway tolls (HGS/OGS) and parking charges are the Renter's responsibility.
In the event of a breakdown, our 24/7 roadside assistance line must be called and no one else may work on the vehicle.

8. Effect and Contact
